TRX Cymbals and Drumming News Network have announced the launch of the “Beat X Beat” Video Contest, a new drumming competition designed to showcase talent across North America. The contest runs from September 1-14, 2025, with winners announced on October 1, 2025.

The competition invites drummers from the United States, Canada, and Mexico to participate in the international drumming contest.

Contest Details and Entry Process

The contest welcomes drummers of all skill levels, from professionals to beginners. Participants must download the official “Beat X Beat” track from the TRX Cymbals website and record a playthrough video. Contest tracks are available in multiple formats including full tracktrack without drums, and track without drums plus click.

Submissions require posting the video on social media with appropriate tags and registering on the official contest entry page.

Judging and Evaluation

The judging panel includes industry professionals Charles Streeter, Jessica Goodwin, Brandon Godette, and other respected figures in the drumming world. Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, technique, musicality, and overall presentation.

Prizes and Recognition
