Drumming enthusiasts are set to converge at the Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry, Galway, as the Galway Drum Show 2025 returns for its fourth edition on March 30th. The annual event has grown into a major date on the Irish drumming calendar, offering a packed lineup of performances, masterclasses, and hands-on sessions.

Billed as Ireland’s ultimate event for drummers, the Galway Drum Show is more than just a concert—it’s a full-day celebration of percussion, featuring performances, workshops, and an extensive EXPO showcasing top drum and cymbal brands. Attendees can browse stands from some of the biggest international drum manufacturers alongside local companies, making it a must-visit for drum enthusiasts.

This year’s show features an impressive roster of talent, including Steve White, best known for his work with The Style Council and Oasis, alongside Gabor “Gabs” Dornyei, head of Detroit Institute of Music Education-Online UK/USA. Irish drumming powerhouse Ben Wanders (Overhead, the Albatross) will also take the stage.

Over the years, the Galway Drum Show has welcomed a lineup of renowned drummers, including Chad Wackerman, Anika Nilles, Claus Hessler, Richard Spaven, Gary Husband, Adam Marcello, Darren Beckett, Conor Guilfoyle, Mikey Sorbello, Alex Mey, Dan Western, and Tom Corcoran. The event continues to draw some of the most respected names in the drumming world.

Beyond the performances, attendees can expect interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and insights into the latest drum gear and techniques. The event aims to celebrate both legendary names and emerging talents pushing the boundaries of percussion.

Tickets are priced at €30, with demand expected to be high given the show’s increasing popularity. Early booking is advised to secure a spot.
