Alesis shrank the Strata down to apartment size. The Club keeps the line's flagship module in a $1,599 kit sized for a spare room or a shared wall.

The middle Strata takes the Prime's BFD engine and triggering and trims the package to $1,999. Intermediate drummers get a professional-feeling kit that fits a practice room.

The Nitro grew up. Alesis rebuilt its entry kit around adult drummers, and at $699 it is an easy first kit to recommend for quiet home practice.

A discontinued 2023 special edition still findable on the used market. At $250-350 used in 2026, worth a look for beginners. New, the Nitro Max replaced it for good reason.

The flagship that kept me playing until 3 AM on day one. BFD sounds, a giant touchscreen, and triggering that embarrassed kits costing far more.

The Nitro Max packs 8 mesh pads, Bluetooth, and BFD sounds into a $449 kit. It is a solid starter, but the Simmons Titan 50 might be doing it better now.

Years on, still the best value multipad for gigging drummers. 8,000+ samples, the best I/O on any pad, and about $300 less than the SPD-SX Pro. The interface is a bit clunky, but the value is not a question.
